Dr Ugo Onyeka graduated from medical school in 2006. He qualified as a Family Physician (GP) in the UK in 2013 and became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, UK. He gained a lot of experience working in England before moving to Australia in 2016 as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). He also has a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from UK, Certificates in skin cancer medicine and surgery from Australia.
He enjoys every aspect of General Practice. He believes working in partnership with patients results in the best outcome in patient care.
Areas of specific interest: Skin checks/skin cancer medicine and skin cancer surgery, minor surgeries/procedures (eg Implanon insertion/removal, wedge resection, simple cysts removal), mental health, chronic disease management (eg diabetes mellitus, hypertension etc), musculoskeletal medicine, child health, women/maternal health, men’s health.
